Philosophy.. man's way of trying to make sense of things, but in the end, leaving some other people's lives in disarray.

Have I learned anything from it? Well yeah, at the very least about the thoughts other people (great philosophers as they're called) have about existence, action and a number of other things. Descartes was a loner - that was one of the first things i learned... action isn't just the act of doing something, but even the act of doing nothing, and it also includes that which is the past that led to it, the event of the action and the consequences that follow...

and something that i just read... to be is to act and every substance exists for the sake of its operation and that being is self-communicative it passes on (or at least tries) its goodness to others... so in a sense its 'operation' includes not only self-perfection, but also the perfection of others, the creation of others (as is possibe)

as you might notice.. I'm rambling.. can't process all these thoughts.. they 're all getting mixed up--with each other as well as with other thoughts. ahhh heck, on to other things... my platform for one..
