Wow...

Oh my gosh, it's been a month since my last post! So much has happened since then.

Work is still work, although I'm proceeding well with my programs. I just hope that what I'm doing is correct, or else the users will come back to haunt me. At any rate, work is going fine, I made a new friend (a new contractor with SAP), my boss gave me a laserlight and some cookies and so other officemates. SAP had it's employees Christmas party as well as a Kiddie party and clients' party (I was only able to attend the former one - and it was fun, although we weren't part of the raffle...). I also finally met someone on the team in my current project who's the same batch as me. It was just nice to know... :) My last project had a couple of batchamtes of mine.

This is the first christmas I've experienced with work. Meaning, no vacation and people expecting gifts and no ang pao from my parents. Feels very different.

The Christmas season for me this year was fun but extremely tiring. The two fridays before christmas were the end points of my caroling stint for two organizations.. Yes two. One of them, we had a couple of gigs the week before, but this week was the week that really tired me out. Think about it: That first friday was also the first day for the novena masses (simbang gabi). So it was simbang gabi in the morning and caroling at night for 7 days. Funfunfun :D I guess the FCCY caroling was more tiring, because even though I wasn't singing, I was the one conducting. Waving your arms around looking like a madman for three nights straight is not as easy as it seems. PLUS I had work on all those days (I took the day off on monday though). After the third night, we had to prepare for our sponsored simbang gabi. We do this annualy and has been dubbed "arroz caldo night" since that's what we cook every year. Anyway, suffice it to say that we didn't sleep but we had oodles of fun. We also sang as the choir for the mass. I was glad that we still had voices. Although some parts were not all that good (judging from Miren's face.. hehe). After mass and serving food, we ate at McDo greenhills, they're trying to make it a tradition.. I wonder if it will last.. hehe. I was supposed to go to work that day, but I just couldn't bring myself to stand up after I had lay down after taking bath when I got home. (Run-on sentence.. ugh) I also rested that day because we were going to sing at Bern's house that night (4th fccy caroling night- just a special request). It was nice seeing Jaymie and (apparently) their cousin (and my batchmate) Sharon. I haven't seen both of them in quite a while. After that house, I went with Celadon to sing at Queen's house. Ate food. Yummy :) The next day was just one house for Celadon, by that time I was developing a cold already. And after Christmas day (which was fun as usual) I got colds, a cough and ultimately a sore throat. Which until now is giving me hell. When I went to work on tuesday, I was coughing up icky phlegm. Yucky.

I think this has been my most tiring Christmas. It was the first time I committed to 2 choirs, went to simbang gabi and went to work on the same days. I felt like I was killing myself.. but by the grace of God, I survived.. nad boy did I have a blast :D Thanks :D And thanks to EVERYONE as well :D it was great singing with you :D Both Celadon and FCCY. :D

Today was... weird.. work in morning.. was fetched late because.. I dunno.. so many reasons.. nakakainis lang.. no one to blame.. Tapos went to power books in greenbelt to see my bro's pic in ab exhibit. Ok lang... isnag pic lang eh.. Tapos went to promenade for a movie with marie, shanty and jeanne. The movie was.. uhhmm. ewan.. I never watched the series soo... hehe :D (we watched Mulawin btw, we were too late for Mano Po 4). Anyway, after that we ate at Fuzion and then they all left me. I wandered around a bit to timezone and fully booked, then I walked home.. Feeling lonely the whole way... until now actually, since there's no one (except 2 maids) here at home.. thanks to the Y!M people for keeping me company.. it wasn't a complete success.. but at least I didn't digress more.. *hugzz* to all of you :D

EDIT: it's 12:39am, I'm still home alone
