School is Weird

Guess what! I only had one class yesterday! Only my first class, TH121, wasn't a free cut.  My second class was during the mass for St. Ignatius (which I wasn't able to attend).  The third class, Ph103, was the weird one.  The teaching assistant of Sir Gus, Ice, came in, set his water bottle on the table and asked us: "Sino gusto ng free cut?"  Half of the class raised their hands weakly.  He asked again a couple of times and the last time, he repeated really loudly right after saying "Seryoso," probably 80-90% of the class raised their hands up high this time.  Yeesh, what a way to give a free cut!  To think I'm going to cut this Friday's class because I have to watch something for Hi166.

You know what else is weird? I only have one class today too!  There will be an academic convocation later from 130-6, which I'm not attending (why would I? hehe).  My only class will be Ma171 from 12-130.  After that I have a meeting for Celadon.  Bso and Olive called a departmental meeting (meaning them and the Externals' Managers).  What we're going to meet about? I'm not really sure.  Probably about flocks, Externals' Night and maybe about some projects.  Hopefully, I can hitch with someone home at 230, right after the meeting.  I don't want to laze about in school for I don't know how long.  But if that does happen, I can always watch that Hi166 thing later instead of tomorrow.

Boring Day!

Today was a really boring day!

I got to school early today to help set-up the Food Sale booth (I almost forgot actually.. haha).  I wasn't sure if we had badminton today since no one texted me, so I didn't go, but I hope we have a session next week, I'm getting fatter by the second!

After that I had brunch and a short nap before class.  Class was, as usual, as boring as ever! The teacher just kept on talking and talking.  After that, we had a free cut, BUT we had to make a program that multiplied matrices using MPI.  I didn't finish it- UGH, ah well I'll try to finish it tom.  After that we had History.  Boring as usual.  Oh well, that's just the way it is... I sure hope I didn't do really bad in the long test last week.  I wonder when ma'am will give us back the test?  I went home after that class, and starting bumming.  Why do I feel that I have nothing to do and nothing to study anymore?  Just a bit to read, but heck, I'm not reading at the moment... I hope I get a grip on things soon.. they just might pass me by..

I'm Well!!!

My stomach still hurts sometimes, but I can eat regularly now! I just came from a scrumptious korean meal!  Soooooo yummy!!! To top it off, Kat was there too!  It was my aunt and uncle's anniversary, and I (sort of) tricked Kat into coming.  I just told her to eat at home, since she would be hitching with me. I'm so devious! But at least I got to stay with her the whole night!

I wasn't able to submit my AEGIS requirements, I'll just have to chance the free-for-all on Saturday.  I have to buy 3 diskettes and 3 brown envelopes for this, and (since there's time) edit my Senior's page.  I admit the hours of sleep that I missed were sort of wasted, but that's okay, at least I won't have to do all that much anymore.  Thanks to all those who helped in my write-up!!! [I'll might post that here soon, I'm still thinking about it..  :D hmm yeah, I'll try editting that as well...]

Thanks Anj!

Here's what Anj wrote for me *hug* for you!!!  I promise to use (most of) this in my write-up! :D

AEGIS

I'm [trying] to do my AEGIS stuff (Write-up, profile, directory entry and Senior's Page).  Ang hirap!  I was I was creative... oh well... Anyone care to help me with my write-up? Describe me in anyway you can or want :D I just remembered that I haven't gone to the Church of Gesu (inside I mean).  That'll probably change soon, but then, what will I write in my profile? hmm... and what's my frustrating moment? urgh, This is all due by Friday, I hope I finish it in time.

*sigh* I'm still sick.. I want to get well!!!  It's so hard not being able to eat so many things... especially with me!  Please, please get well body! (shucks, now I'm talking to my body!)

My Week

Help this dream come true!
http://www.livejournal.com/users/wanderluscious/61346.html

Yesterday was the Celadon GA. and it was great! :D I really loved the Movie theme (although they really should have put a black cloth all around! wahehe kidding :P)  As usual, the GA was more fun than work.  The EB presentation was funny, embrassing? well not really.. but really funny! (julie! wahehehe :P)  The food was nice, I really liked the mashed potatoes! I wish I could've had more, but my stomach wasn't doing too wel (more on that later).  The choir sang Hakuna Matata.  We weren't too bad, although our blending needs work (we didn't really have a piece to follow so we were just winging it during practice).   My pumba needs work as well.  My 'sadyang piyok' (how the heck do you spell that?) looked too real.. wahehehe :D  Kat didn't come to the GA anymore, oh well... I miss her...

After the GA I went home (thanks mic!) and went straight to the CR.  My stomach erally wasn't doing very well.  I took a bath, dried my hair and slept -- well tried.  I couldn't sleep very well because of my stomach.. I did sleep a couple of hours, but then I woke up at around 12mn and I had to go to the CR again.. AND I had a fever.  I barely slept the whole night because of those two darn it.  My head still hurts right now, although it's been more than 3 hours since my last trip to the CR, so I think I'm getting better.  Darn it, I hate getting sick....  I rarely do... but when I do, it's not the run of the mill fever or anything.. oh well... I hope I can still go out later, but we'll see.

Oh yeah right.. the rest of my week.. well, it was sort of a hell week.  I had a Philo Long test last Wednesday (I did okay i think) and a Math long test on Thursday (I got a 41/70 on my first -- at least I passed).  Besides that, we had a exercise in our programming class.  No one finished it during class (except maybe josh), I wasn't even able to finish it the next day, oh well, bawi na lang ako sa bonus!  We also had a quiz in history (not too bad...).  [hmm I already posted about this... hehe oh well.. :P]

I HATE BEING SICK!  My head hurts.. *sigh*  was it something I ate? Not the GA food, coz even before the GA, my stomach was acting up already...  was it the sisig? the spicy luncheon meat? the water from the fountain? urg.. I wanna get well!

Blessing? Or Not?

Lightning struck last Tuesday, messing up the networks at school for sometime, but, even worse, it messed up my internet here at home! From around 3pm that day, I had no access to the internet, now if that was a blessing or a curse I'm not really sure. Yesterday I had a philo test, and because I had no internet, I was able to study. Today I had a math long test, and a history quiz, and miraculously, I was able to study for both! I really hate it when I lose internet time, but at least I got to study a bit more (I still do this though.. but I just had more time to study.. :P)

So happy to get my internet back.. that's why I'm posting! Anyway, lightning still wreaked havoc in school today. The agila server we use for programming went down for a couple of minutes and was on the fritz the whole time. Our programming exercise became doubly hard because of this. I couldn't finish it then because I had a quiz in history right after (in Bellarmine Hall! a lightyear away from SEC!). At any rate, I haev to download a C compiler here and finish the program. I won't know if it'll be correct though, since I can't de-bug it since we're using MPI already (now if only I had a Beowulf cluster here at home... yeah right! :P). Now, back to work first....

Boring day...

Today was boring, except in the morning (Hey! That ryhmes!). This morning I hitched with Kat again, boy do I miss her so much. We should always be together. :D Anyway, When I got to school I ate luinch and then went to Ma 171. A couple of minutes after sittinf down, my head started to hurt. For what reason, I have no idea, but it did hurt. It continued until the next class (AMC 153 - I got a 9 in the quiz! Yey!) and the class after (Hi166). A couple of my friends also had headaches, even my brother's fiance! Is this a coindcidence or something? Well, I hope there's no bug going around.

Interesting Senior's Project topics were discussed a while ago.

1) Application of Fourier Transforms to Digital Watermarks - TBA (This is what we got!)
2) Application of Near Markov Matrix (NMM) to Genetic Modelling - Dr. Ruiz/Sir Tabares
3) Application of Swarm Intelligence to Graph Coloring Problem - Sir Tabares
4) Application of Cellular Automata to Brain Tumor - Dr. Saldaa
5) Application of Differential Equations to Sound and Music - Dr. Tuprio

Badminton

We played badminton again today! So fun! Me and Mic won over Jammy and Pat.. TWICE!!! I'm so happy! hahaha Me and Jammy also won over Pat and Mic! hehehe I also won over Anj! Wala lang :D We played for 2 hours today, tiring but fun. Problem is, I was late for my 12nn class, so I didn't attend anymore. AND I was so sleepy in my second class, I dozed off a couple of times I think. [I'm sooooo bad!]

Mental Note: Take a bath faster, or leave the court a bit earlier :P

Anyway, to anyone who has ChaGo's phone: Give it to her please!!!! (yeah right like they'd read this blog! haha)

Weird

I'm not feeling like myself at the moment. I really don't know why. It could be the weather, school, end of ORSEM, or even that nap I took in the afternoon. I really dont feel like myself. I feel depressed, but not. More melancholic I think. What the heck is wrong?!?!? I wish I knew, I really wish I knew...

My litte brother's in his DWTL right now... just sharing.. along with Daph's and Jim's brothers... I wish them the best... feel loved...

Spiderman 2 (and everything else that night)

Spiderman 2 was great. A mix of comedy, action and drama; with just the right amount of each. I was actually surprised of the "crying" scenes [touching/sad scenese]. There were points that I actually almost cried (if anyone reads this.. shhhhhhhh!). The girl with the violin (?) was one of the thinks I liked (Spidermaaaan.. Spidermaaaaan..). But what was really amazing about Spiderman is that he could swing anytime with his web, even with no visible building or structure, he would just have to shoot off-screen. cool, ain't it? Wahahahha! :D

Garv's (Belated Happy Birthday!) surprise party was really a surprise to him - although there were a LOT of hints already. Well, not exactly hints, but slips (one of those who slipped was me!). At least he was genuinely surprised! And so was I, when I saw Affie, John Yap and Kix! It was a nice party. Surprisingly (again.. hehe) there were a lot of Xaverians there (We ate at Grilla). Mostly Garv's batch though (some were a batch lower than me).

Speaking of Xaverians and batches, I saw a couple of my batchmates in PowerPlant. The first one I saw.. well I think I used the wrong name. *kakahiya!* Oh well, he didn't notice I hope. I saw two of my old classmates and caught up a bit, although I coudn't stay long, because I was helping Garv find Colin. Well anyway, I said I saw the other guy (still using the wrong name) and that's where I realized that he wasn't the one I was talking about. The guy I mentioned was in the states.. uggh.. what a loser I am! I keep on forgetting names! Ah well..

After all that, Movie, Friends and Grilla, we still went to Starbucks after. I didn't drink anything though. Just sat there sleepy for the first half and then talked about stuff after. Got home at around 2, took a bath and then slept. But then I had to wake up at 6 so I could get to the Manila Boat Club (MBC) by 7. I spent 2 hours of doing nothing there (I brought the wrong readings!) but at least I was able to give them a bit of food and water. After that I accompanied my parents to the grocery, came home and used the computer, and I'm still here right now, although I did sleep in the middle.

NEWSPAPER!

ESCUDO | ORSEM 2004 came out in the Manila Bulletin Yesterday! So cool!!! They even included a picture of the OrCom! I miss ORSEM!

For those who don't subscribe to the Manila Bulletin, here's the online link! :D
